Ms. Dyana Williams   

Ms. Dyana Williams Dyana Williams’ career exceeds limitation. Whether showcasing her talents in broadcasting, print journalism and community activism or television producing & reporting, media coaching and lecturing, she’s remained a constant force in the entertainment industry for over three decades.​

Currently, Williams hosts “Soulful Sunday,” a weekly show broadcast via Radio One adult contemporary station, WRNB-FM, which won the Achievement in Radio Award for Best Weekend Show in Philadelphia for 2006. Each Sunday, 10am to 3pm, she can be found at 100.3 on the FM dial, deftly weaving the musical history born of her adopted hometown and other classic music – from Aretha Franklin, The Temptations to Teddy Pendergrass…and every artist in between.

Affectionately named "The Ambassador of African-American Music" by American Express’ Departures magazine, the Harlem, New York native began her career at WHUR-FM in the Nation’s Capitol and later, journeyed back home to the top-rated station, WBLS-FM. After making history as the first African-American woman to join an on-air team in rock radio at WRQX-FM, she landed her first on-camera position as an entertainment reporter on “PM Magazine,” which aired on Washington, D.C.’s CBS affiliate, WUSA

 

Mr. Jumoke S. Mendez

Jumoke S. Mendez Chief Executive Officer

 has worked in marketing and branding with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment for over the past decade specializing in Branding and Private Client Services.  Jumoke graduated with his BA in Sports Management and Minor in Marketing from Florida International University in 2003.

Jumoke is an Inugral Member of STARRS Basketball SESE Group, who was a basketball phenom, who worked extremly hard and was mature at the early age of 10 years old.  Jumoke has worked on campaigns, for Hennessy Artistry Tour to Winter Music Conference, Ultra Music Festival, NBA Draft, NFL Draft and the VMA’s. His 8 years of working heavily with corporate clients, celebrities, athletes, and brands landed him the incredible opportunity in 2011 to team up with mobile company  Mobli, a new startup platform for real-time visual media sharing based out of New York.  Joining Mobli he experienced extremely fast growth helping the company to aggressively increase their overall users and usage by utilizing his wealth of contacts and innovative marketing strategies.  He played an intricate role in the success of social media giant, Mobli, through implementing his ideas, initiatives, resources, and robust marketing strategies. 

In 2013 Jumoke founded 3P Media Partners to mentor and guide young rising stars for both sports and entertainment. 3P allows talent to maximize their overall brand so each and every client reaches their true potential on and off the court, field, and stage.  Their goal is to educate, empower and manage their current/future clients so they succeed in every aspect of business which drives them to become global leaders and ambassadors which positions them to maximize their brand. 

Mr. Marcell Jefferson

2016 STARRS Basketball: Education, Sports & Entertainment Awards - The Rebound Award in Education and Life "STARRS Alumni"

Mr. Marcell Jefferson 

Mr. Marcell Jefferson, 6'6" star with the STARRS Bsketball team since he was 10 years old, was passed the coaching torch by Mr. Walker 18 years ago as the STARRS Basketball team entered its second year in the Manhattan Nike Basketball Tournament.  Mr. Walker's, prodgy Mr. Jamie Harris played on that team at the young age of 11 years old. He was named to the All Nike team.  Jamie went on to star under the coaching and mentoring or Marcell to be recruited by two of the nations youth basketball programs at the time, Riverside Church and The Gauchos. He went on to star at Rice H.S., was selected to P.S.A.L All City Team at Wings Academy and played 3 years at Drexel University and ended his career as starting point guard and team's leading scorer.

Mr. Jefferson has worked as a Third - Party vendor for Chase Manhattan Bank and A.S.C.A.P. (THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS) a company that mentored, inspired and encouraged him, along with Mr. Walker and Mr. Jefferson's current girlfriend, Kesha.

Mr. Jefferson attended Barber-Scotia College a HBCU school founded as Scotia Seminary in January, 1867, by Reverend Luke Dorland who was commissioned by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to establish in the South an institution for the training of Negro women. The school failed financiallly but has reopened.  Today Mr. Jefferson is determined to complete his education, while taking AP courses and academically excelling at Kingsboro Community College where he on the Honors Dean's List and will Graduate with Honors in June 2016.  He intends to immediately continue to pursue 4 year undergraduate degree in Sports Managemeant with Honors.

 

Ms. Laura Williams

Ms. Laura Williams 

Founder & CEO -- L. Michelle, has built a career in creative marketing which spans over a decade. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies, private industry, and non-profits to provide RFP/Grant writing and marketing initiatives. Independently, she has developed promotional marketing products for companies such as McDonalds, Marriott Hotel, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, YMCA and Blue Star Jets. She was commissioned to create corporate gift items for celebrity figures including Oprah, Spike Lee, Lauryn Hill, Wycleff Jean, Phylicia Rashad and Martha Stewart. 

Her extensive experience has made her a master in negotiating, contracts, RFP's, Grants and Marketing. EMA represents independent artists and professional athletes. 

L. Michelle received a B.A. from Marymount Manhattan College, attended the New York School for Social Research  and she is currently pursuing her Masters in Sport Management at Liberty University.
